Rainbow Park, Whistler, BCRainbow Park - This is a favourite for many people and is one of my favourites for photography. This grassy park with beach on the shores of Alta Lake looks out over the many peaks across the lake to the east. Great views of Blackcomb Mtn, Whistler Mtn, Wedge, Cook, Currie, and many others. Some interesting photographic features as well such as a log wooden bridge over the River of Golden Dreams, Click to view wedding areaa wooden dock which protrudes out into the lake, some old heritage buildings, and the rail line. This area is very busy on warm summer days but there is a separate area away from any crowds that is reserved for wedding ceremonies. Please contat the Resort Municipality of Whistler. Can accommodate large weddings and hold several tents if needed.

The Den RestaurantThe Den Restaurant at Nicklaus North - Formerly known as Chez Joel's, the Den Restaurant is suitable for both the ceremony and indoor reception/dinner. Very popular as views of the mountains are good, and great restaurant on hand for reception. Will usually provide golf carts for photographer and wedding party if desired at time of booking with them. This is a good idea as it allows photos in various places on and around the course and adds a bit of excitement too. More info on The Den Restaurant.  For more location shots see our Featured Weddings

Blackcomb Mtn from Whistler MtnThe Mountain - Whistler Blackcomb Mountain offers a unique setting for any wedding. Imagine your wedding at 6000 feet, on top of Whistler Mountain with views of the Spearhead Range and Whistler Valley below. Dining/reception facilities are available in the Roundhouse Lodge. The Mountain is accessed by the Whistler Village gondola, about a 20 minute ride from the valley floor. Many photographic angles are available on the mountain and would make a good location in the warmer months on clear or semi-clear days. Weather however is always an issue on top and can be a bit more fickle than in the valley. When clouds do roll in, there is little background here for photos. Prepare for cooler temperatures by 5 to 10 degrees Celsius on most days. For more info on booking this location visit Whistler Blackcomb.  For more location shots see our Featured Weddings

Chateau WhistlerFairmont Chateau Whistler - The Chateau Whistler is Whistler's top hotel, providing guests with elegant accommodation and impeccable service. The Chateau has its own wedding chapel on the roof of the building, a partly indoor/outdoor venue. Photographically, the views on the roof are not great but shots of the ceremony tend to be close-ups making the chapel a decent ceremony location. Click the small photo for a better view. Inside, the hotel there are many good images to be had from the tastefully appointed corridors to the balcony overlooking the lobby. The Chateau Click for Chateau Chapelgives a classy appearance to any wedding. Outdoors, the large flower gardens make for colourful images as well.
