The
Mountain - Whistler Blackcomb Mountain offers
a unique setting for any wedding. Imagine your wedding
at 6000 feet, on
top of Whistler Mountain with views of the Spearhead Range and
Whistler Valley below. Dining/reception facilities are
available
in the Roundhouse Lodge. The Mountain is accessed by the Whistler
Village gondola, about a 20 minute ride from the valley
floor.
Many photographic angles are available on the mountain and would
make a good location in the warmer months on clear or semi-clear
days. Weather however is always an issue on top and can be a
bit more fickle than in the valley. When clouds do roll
in, there
is little background here for photos. Prepare for cooler temperatures
by 5 to 10 degrees Celsius on most days. For more info

Chateau Whistler - The Chateau Whistler is Whistler's
top hotel, providing guests with elegant accommodation
and impeccable
service. The Chateau has its own wedding chapel
on the roof of the building, a partly indoor/outdoor venue. Photographically,
the views on the roof are not great but shots of the ceremony
tend to be close-ups making the chapel a decent ceremony location.

are many good images to be had from the tastefully appointed
corridors to the balcony overlooking the lobby. The Chateau 
gives
a classy appearance to any wedding. Outdoors, the large flower
